Terms and Conditions

PRIZE DRAW – RULES

Effective from 1st June 2025 these terms and conditions (“Rules”) apply to any and all Prize Draws (“Prize Draws”) promoted by Elloughton Blackburn FC (“Promoter”).

PLEASE READ THESE RULES CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. BY ENTERING, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE RULES, WHICH CONSTITUTE A BINDING CONTRACT BETWEEN YOU AND THE PROMOTER.

THIS IS A MONTHLY PRIZE DRAW WITH A RECURRING MONTHLY ENTRY FEE.

THE PROMOTER

1. The Promoter of the Prize Draw is Elloughton Blackburn FC. The Promoter is responsible for creating, managing, and advertising the Prize Draw, including setting the entry fees, determining the prizes, and distributing the prize to the winner.

ELIGIBILITY

2. In order to be eligible to enter the Prize Draw, you must:

  1. be aged 18 or over;

  2. a legal resident of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (excluding Isle of Man and Channel Islands);

3. You may be required to provide proof to confirm your eligibility at any point.

HOW TO ENTER

4. The Prize Draw Entry Page contains all the details about the Prize Draw, including the prize(s) on offer, entry fees, and the entry period. Please review this information carefully before entering, as it will guide you on how to participate, how to ensure your entry is valid and what the prizes are.

5. How to enter the Prize Draw:

  1. Visit the Prize Draw Entry Page on the Promoters website.

  2. Click the link to access the purchasing system and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.

  3. You will be required to provide your full name, contact phone number, email address, and payment details.

  4. Once your payment is processed, you will automatically receive the number of entries you purchased.

  5. Each £5 monthly payment entitles you to one entry into that months monthly Prize Draw and the next applicable Super Draw.

  6. Your first payment will be collected immediately and subsequent payments will be automatically collected on a monthly basis thereafter. 

  7. If, in any month, the automated monthly payment is not successful, the system will automatically attempt to retake the payment at seven day intervals. Should a monthly payment not be received by the closing date for that month, your entry will not be valid for that applicable Prize Draw.

  8. You may purchase multiple times depending on the rules for that specific Prize Draw, as set out on the Prize Draw Entry Page.

  9. You can opt out of future draws by contacting xx (enter email address) to cancel your recurring payment.

WINNER SELECTION

6. The method of winner selection will be via a randomised draw. The draw will take place after the closing date, which is specified on the Prize Draw Entry Page. 

7. The winner will be notified via the contact details provided at the time of entry (via email or phone) within 7 days of the draw closing.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to choose a new winner (via randomised draw) if the original winner fails to respond or is ineligible to claim the prize within the specified time frame.

PRIZES

9. The Prize will be determined by the Promoter and shall be stated on the Prize Draw Entry Page, where these Rules are featured or linked to (“Prize”).

10. All Prize descriptions (including any photographs or similar) are for illustrative purposes only and may not reflect the exact nature of the Prize. The Promoter is responsible for providing all information about the Prize.

11. The Prize is non-transferable and any non-cash prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative form, unless stated otherwise by the Promoter.

PUBLICITY

12. If you are a prize winner, you agree that your initials, last name, and county of residence may be used by the Promoter in all media (including social media) for publicity purposes.

DATA PROTECTION

13. Any personal information and materials submitted as part of your entry will be collected for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw, including winner selection and prize delivery and handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

THE LEGAL BITS

14. While the Promoter strives to provide accurate and timely information, all dates and times mentioned in these terms and conditions are subject to change. The Promoter will not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by changes to the schedule or dates, even with short notice. By entering, you release the Promoter from any claims for injury, damage, theft, or loss arising from your participation, except where caused by negligence.

15. The Promoter has full discretion in all matters related to the Prize Draw. All decisions made by the Promoter are final and binding, and no further correspondence will be entered into, except as stated in these terms and conditions.

16. These Rules do not grant any third party the right to enforce or benefit from any provision herein, in accordance with the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

17. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or postpone the Prize Draw or prize at any time without notice, especially in cases of unforeseen circumstances or changes in applicable law.

18. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant at their discretion if the entrant or their entry fails to comply with these Rules or if the Promoter reasonably believes that the entrant has acted inappropriately, fraudulently, or dishonestly in connection with the Prize Draw.

19. If any part of these Rules is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a competent court, that part will be removed, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

20. These Rules are governed by the laws of the country in which the Promoter is located and all entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
